Children and Youth

St Mary's church hosts a number of groups and activities for children and young people, meeting during the week.  We have an active Boy's Brigade, with all four sections, and Rainbows, Brownies and Guides for girls.  These uniformed groups parade during the morning service on the second Sunday of each month.  For more details click on the appropriate group in the drop down menu above.

In addition, St Mary's has a Sunday Club with two different age-related groups (4-10s and 11-14s), meeting during the morning service each week during school term time, with the exception of the monthly parade service.  Creche facilties and toys are also available for younger children and there is a new youth group beginning for teenagers (watch this space!)  For more details about these activities, contact Philippa Williams or Malcolm Chamberlain.

deepening faith

At the heart of who we are and all that we do, we seek to be…

deepening faith; holding Jesus, and the call to faithfully follow him, as our principal value

building community

At the heart of who we are and all that we do, we seek to be…

building community; welcoming, respecting and fully including everyone, and actively supporting one another in discovering our gifts and reaching our full potential

engaging others

At the heart of who we are and all that we do, we seek to be…

engaging others; serving the wider community of Wavertree, and the networks we are involved in, by both being and proclaiming good news
