Sunday Club

Sunday Club age 4 - 14

During the 10:30am services in school term-time (but excluding the Parade services) the children have their own groups where they can take part in fun activities and discussions, helping them to learn from the same Bible passages that the adults are engaging with in the service.  These groups last about 20-25 minutes and children are invited to go to their groups after the opening part of the service, rejoining the service at the Peace (just before sharing Communion), where they are encouraged to show the rest of the church family what they've been doing!  On most weeks, one or two of the children will lead us all in a prayer that they've used in their groups before we all share the Peace.

There are two age-groups meeting at this time...

4s-10s  led by Philippa Williams

11s-14s  led by Jo Chamberlain

Feel free to contact either of the group leaders for more information.

deepening faith

At the heart of who we are and all that we do, we seek to be…

deepening faith; holding Jesus, and the call to faithfully follow him, as our principal value

building community

At the heart of who we are and all that we do, we seek to be…

building community; welcoming, respecting and fully including everyone, and actively supporting one another in discovering our gifts and reaching our full potential

engaging others

At the heart of who we are and all that we do, we seek to be…

engaging others; serving the wider community of Wavertree, and the networks we are involved in, by both being and proclaiming good news
