Lilyfield Cafe

Lilyfield cafeThe new Lilyfield Cafe is now up and running after our succesful launch on 14th March with Councillor Rosie Jolie.  The cafe is part of the Lilyfield ministry aimed at supporting unemployed people and helping them back into the workplace.  Lilyfield also hosts a project with Tomorrow's People in Liverpool and is developing a partnership with the local Job Centre Plus to provide work experience for unemployed people.

The cafe is established as a place to simply drop in and meet others over a drink and cake, and offers 'sacred space' for people to take time out and reflect if they want to.  Plans are also being developed to create a job search facility connected to the cafe in the future.

The cafe is open to all people in the community, regardless of employment status and faith affiliation, and is open weekly (except in school holidays) on Monday mornings from 10am to 12noon. Come along and try it for yourself!

deepening faith

At the heart of who we are and all that we do, we seek to be…

deepening faith; holding Jesus, and the call to faithfully follow him, as our principal value

building community

At the heart of who we are and all that we do, we seek to be…

building community; welcoming, respecting and fully including everyone, and actively supporting one another in discovering our gifts and reaching our full potential

engaging others

At the heart of who we are and all that we do, we seek to be…

engaging others; serving the wider community of Wavertree, and the networks we are involved in, by both being and proclaiming good news
